Guinea Pig Chess
Guinea Pig Chess
A face-to-face, two-player board game played on one phone. Sit across from each other, take turns, collect treats, and claim territory with cute chaos.

A Real Two-Player Game — On One Phone
Put the phone between you. Take turns. Block each other. Steal territory. Guinea pigs make it cute — the strategy makes it addictive.
Guinea Pig Chess is designed for couples, friends, and anyone who wants a quick, face-to-face game without accounts, online lobbies, or waiting for opponents. You and your opponent share the same board — and every move changes what’s possible next.
How It Plays
- Take turns moving one tile. Each player moves their guinea pig one cell per turn. Turns are quick — you can’t stall forever.
- Collect hay, botanicals, and water. Step onto resources to collect them. You’re trying to complete a full set.
- Complete a set to leave droppings. When you collect all three, your guinea pig leaves droppings on the board. Droppings are how you score and claim territory.
- Overwrite to steal territory. If you leave droppings on a tile that already has droppings, you claim the tile. The last owner controls it.
- Stay social — or you can’t eat. A shared lonely meter drains if the guinea pigs don’t touch for too long. Touch to refill it — otherwise they refuse to eat or drink.
Why It Gets Tense
Food can’t spawn on dirty tiles
Resources never appear on tiles with droppings. As the board gets “dirtier,” the remaining clean space becomes more valuable — and harder to reach.
The game can end early
When there’s no valid clean tile left for food to spawn, the match ends immediately. Your choices don’t just affect score — they affect how long the game lasts.
Stealing is part of the strategy
Overwriting droppings is a core mechanic. Expect last-second swings and brutal steals. (Cute brutal. Guinea pig brutal.)
Designed for replay
Short matches, fast turns, and a simple rule set that becomes surprisingly tactical once you start blocking spawns and controlling space.
