Welcome to The 77th Anniversary. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The 77th Anniversary mobile application (the "App") operated by Healing Mates, a registered business in Ontario, Canada (the "Company"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using the App.


1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. By accessing the App, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are of legal age to form a binding agreement; and
  • Your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Age Verification & Disclaimer

During registration, you must provide your date of birth. If your entered birthdate indicates that you are under 18 years old, you will not be allowed to create an account. Healing Mates is not liable for any consequences arising from false or inaccurate age information, and if we determine you are underage, your account will be terminated immediately.


2. Account Registration and Responsibility

To access full functionality, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, including a valid Contact Email Address for support and account-related communications;
  • Safeguard your login credentials and not share them with others; and
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

SMS Verification: Access to your account is provided solely via SMS verification. Loss of access to the associated phone number may result in permanent account loss, and no refunds, reimbursements, or compensations will be issued in such cases.

Accounts inactive for 7 days or more will be permanently removed during daily system checks.


3. Referral Program

The App includes a referral program where users may earn rewards by referring others. By participating, you agree to the following:

  • Phone Number Usage: Your phone number, provided during registration, will be used solely to track referral activity and prevent abuse;
  • Annual Benefit Reset: Referral benefits may be claimed only once per calendar year to ensure fairness;
  • Modification or Discontinuation: Healing Mates reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time without prior notice. No refunds, reimbursements, or compensations will be provided for any changes or termination;
  • Eligibility and Verification: Rewards are subject to verification. Providing false or misleading information may result in disqualification from the referral program and potential account suspension.

4. Geographic Availability and User Compliance

The App is available for phone authentication in the following regions (subject to change at our sole discretion):

  • United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay
  • United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, France
  • Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines
  • South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda
  • Costa Rica, Panama, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia

No Refunds for Regional Changes: If changes in geographic availability restrict or terminate your access to the App after any payment or token acquisition, no refunds, reimbursements, credits, or compensation will be provided.

User Compliance: You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with all local, state, national, and international laws. Healing Mates will not be held liable for any issues arising from regulatory or regional restrictions affecting your access.


5. Acceptable Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree to:

  • Use the App solely for its intended purposes;
  • Respect other users by avoiding harassment, abuse, or harmful behavior;
  • Refrain from misrepresentation or creating fraudulent profiles; and
  • Comply with all community standards and applicable laws.

Healing Mates reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion for any violations of these Terms.


6. Support & Moderation Notice

To keep the App free or affordable, Healing Mates operates with a lean team. As a result, support may be less responsive compared to larger platforms. We enforce our moderation policies strictly and reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts as needed. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept that no refunds, reimbursements, or compensation will be provided for support delays or moderation decisions.


7. Reflecto Insights and Transparency

Reflecto provides insights into user interactions, fostering transparency and intentional connections. By using Reflecto, you agree that:

  • Profile Visibility: Data such as recent likes, messaging patterns, user profiles with photos, and responses to "What do you find interesting in this profile?" may be displayed;
  • Interest Reasons: Your response to "What do you find interesting in this profile?" will be shared with the liked user along with your profile photo and non-negotiables;
  • Voluntary Exit History: A record of voluntary exits from conversations may be maintained and visible on your profile;
  • Transparency Commitment: You consent to the public display of such data and waive any claims arising therefrom; and
  • Changes to Reflecto: Healing Mates may modify or discontinue Reflecto Insights at any time without liability or reimbursement.

8. Tokens, Advertisements, and Payments

The App currently uses a tokens system instead of traditional subscriptions or direct payments. Additionally, tokens may be earned by watching advertisements on a dedicated page. By purchasing or earning tokens, you agree to the following:

  • Final Sales Policy: All token transactions are final. No refunds, reimbursements, or credits will be provided for token purchases or changes in token value.
  • Benefits Changes: Healing Mates reserves the right to modify, add, or remove any benefits associated with tokens or in-app credits without notice.
  • No Guarantee of Benefits: Tokens and any associated features or benefits are subject to change at our sole discretion, and no guarantees are provided regarding their maintenance or value.
  • Limitations on Expectations: You acknowledge that tokens hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or other compensation.
  • Force Majeure Protection: Healing Mates is not liable for any changes to token systems caused by external factors, including regulatory restrictions or technical challenges.
  • Tokens via Advertisements: Tokens earned by watching ads are subject to change or removal at any time without refund or compensation.
  • Voice Affirmation Playback Fee: Listening to a voice affirmation on another user's profile will deduct one token per playback. This fee supports secure storage, moderation, and operational costs necessary to maintain our premium voice features.

No refunds, reimbursements, or compensations will be provided under any circumstances relating to token transactions.


9. Daily Processes for Inactive Accounts and Engagement

To maintain a vibrant community, the following procedures apply:

  • New Table Engagement: When assigned to a new table, you must send your first message within 17 hours, or you may be removed from that table;
  • Account Activity: If you do not log in for 7 days, your account may be removed—even if you are on a waitlist;
  • Refill Your Table: If your table has fewer than 6 participants, you may click the "Refill the table" button within 2 days of its creation, provided it is at least 5 days before the session ends. (If one gender drops below 2 participants or the total falls under 4, the refill option will be unavailable.)
  • Waitlist Check-In: To keep our waitlist active, you must check in at least once every 17 hours. If your last waitlist check-in is older than 17 hours, you will be removed from the waitlist queue.

These processes are subject to change at our sole discretion without any obligation for reimbursement or compensation.


10. Conversation Retention

All conversations—including table-based and one-to-one chats—will be permanently removed 7 days after their creation. This policy is intended to prevent users from retaining ongoing options. No refunds, reimbursements, or compensation will be provided as a result of such removals, and this policy is subject to change without notice.


11. Security and Verification

To ensure authenticity:

  • Phone Verification: All accounts require a valid phone number;
  • Location Access: Location data is required for accurate matching. Attempts to bypass verification may result in suspension.

Data Security Disclaimer

Healing Mates employs reasonable measures to protect user data; however, no system is impenetrable. We are not liable for unauthorized access, hacking, or data breaches. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept these risks.


12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Healing Mates disclaims all warranties including, but not limited to:

  • Warranty of merchantability;
  • Fitness for a particular purpose; and
  • Non-infringement.

Healing Mates is not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from the use of the App.


13. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Healing Mates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or any financial or personal losses arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.


14. Modifications to the Terms and the App

Healing Mates reserves the right to update, modify, or remove any aspect of these Terms or the App—including features, functionalities, support services, tokens, advertisements, messaging, and table conversations—at any time without prior notice. Such modifications are final and shall not entitle you to any refund, reimbursement, or compensation.


15. Content Moderation

To ensure compliance with community guidelines, Healing Mates may remove any content deemed non-compliant without notice. Repeated violations may result in the suspension or termination of your account.


16. Force Majeure

Healing Mates is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, outages, or government actions. This includes any impact on geographic availability, referral rewards, or any App functionalities.


17. Arbitration

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, in order to minimize litigation costs and expedite resolution.


18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Healing Mates, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.


19. Data Backup

Healing Mates employs automated backup systems, including a 7-day point-in-time recovery and daily scheduled backups retained for 30 days, to ensure system integrity and facilitate disaster recovery. These backups are maintained solely for internal operational continuity and are not intended for individual user data recovery. Accordingly, while our backup processes help protect against accidental loss or corruption, once data is deleted in accordance with our retention policies or due to account inactivity, it may not be recoverable. You remain responsible for preserving any information you consider important.


20. Table Conversations and Messaging

When engaging in table-based conversations:

  • Group Message Visibility: All messages sent within a table are visible to every participant;
  • Blocking Functionality: If you block another user, their photos, name, and profile information will be hidden from your view (and vice versa), though any previously exchanged messages will remain visible;
  • Mutual Likes and 1-to-1 Conversations: If two users mutually like each other within a table conversation, they will be automatically assigned to a new one-to-one conversation, which will persist for 7 days before removal.
  • Thoughtful Communication Requirement: To promote meaningful interactions, every message must contain at least 17 characters. Additionally, when expressing interest in a group setting, you are required to include an "Interest Reason" of 20 to 77 characters.

These features are subject to change or removal at our sole discretion without any liability or reimbursement.


21. Right to Modify or Remove App Features

To minimize expenses and streamline operations, Healing Mates reserves the unrestricted right to modify, suspend, or completely remove any feature or functionality of the App—including support services, tokens, advertisements, messaging, and table conversations—at any time and without notice. You expressly waive any claims for refund, reimbursement, or compensation arising from such modifications or removals.


22. No Refunds or Reimbursements

You expressly acknowledge and agree that no refunds, reimbursements, credits, or compensation will be provided for any changes, interruptions, or discontinuations of any App features, tokens, referral rewards, geographic availability, or any other aspect of the App, regardless of the circumstances.


23. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Healing Mates regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, or agreements, whether oral or written.


24. Contact Information

For questions or support, please visit our Support Page. During onboarding, you are required to provide a valid Contact Email Address for support and account-related communications. When raising a support ticket, you must use this email to verify your identity.


25. Limitations on Liability for Technical Failures

While Healing Mates employs industry-standard security and backup measures to preserve user actions—including blocking, reporting, and other settings—there may be rare instances where technical failures, server outages, or data recovery processes cause these actions to revert unintentionally. In such events, Healing Mates will make reasonable efforts to restore the intended user settings; however, you acknowledge and agree that Healing Mates shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, exposure to content from users you have blocked or reported, or any other damages arising from such occurrences.


26. Voice Affirmation and Audio Recordings

To promote genuine, lifetime commitments, our App may require you to record a brief voice affirmation during the onboarding process. By recording your voice, you affirm that you are committed to being honest, transparent, and respectful in your pursuit of a lifetime commitment.

You acknowledge and agree that your voice recording:

  • Will be stored and displayed on your user profile for others to hear;
  • Represents your personal commitment and may be used by Healing Mates for purposes related to user verification, transparency, and community trust;
  • May be removed or modified by Healing Mates at our sole discretion if it is found to be non-compliant with our community guidelines or these Terms;
  • Is subject to our data retention and privacy policies, and you waive any claims arising from its use, reproduction, or display, provided it complies with these guidelines.

If you do not wish to provide a voice affirmation, you understand that you may not be granted access to the full functionality of the App.
